Description
Delta’s Maintenance Bypass Box (MBB) is an optional add-on for the Amplon R 1-3kVA UPS system that offers a continuous power supply to connected loads during battery replacement or other upgrades.
There are two settings for the maintenance bypass box:
• Bypass mode:
When the MBB rotary switch is set to Bypass mode, the MBB is providing an alternate path from AC power to the connected load.
• Normal model:
When the MBB rotary switch is set to Normal mode, the UPS is supplying the connected load with AC power. The load is protected by the UPS.
